In loving memory of Frances Leach

On Thursday 21st October we suddenly lost our beautiful, darling Nanny Fran.

Frances touched the souls of everyone she met. Her welcoming presence, warmth, her great sense of humour and smile will never be forgotten.

As you know Frances loved all types of furry creatures, big or small. She devoted her life to caring for dogs including Paddy, Harry and Charlie.

Battersea is a charity that will always hold a special place in her heart and one that helped her during a very difficult time. After the sad passing of her beloved Sid, Nanny met her second true love, Harry. Nanny was forever grateful to Battersea for making this possible and for bringing little Harry into her life.

Frances made a monthly donation to Battersea and always gave a little extra at Christmas time. This charity really did mean the world to her.

As a family we know that Frances would have preferred a donation be made in her memory to Battersea Dogs rather than flowers at her funeral.

We thank you for everyone’s support during this very difficult time. It brings such comfort to us all knowing how much she was adored by everyone.
