Mum always put others first and was passionate about dogs, art, books and the countryside. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Meryl Litchfield, our beloved mum, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on 26 October 2021. Although this was an immense shock we have found comfort in knowing that she passed away quickly in her sleep.

Mum liked her space and loved nothing more than long walks in the countryside with her dog, of which she's had a few. Her last dog Angus was her companion to the end. Rest assured he is being well looked after.

Mum was passionate about the welfare of dogs and gave a monthly donation to Battersea to support the great work they do. We thought it would therefore be a fitting tribute to set up this memorial page to allow mums friends and family to donate. Something we know would have made her happy.

Mum will be hugely missed and forever in our hearts.
