Earth has lost the kindest person, so pure and so full of love, but heaven has gained the brightest star.

Rita's love of dogs will remain one of the families strongest memories of her. Rita had many dogs throughout her life, her last one being from Battersea, therefore, the rescue home always had a special place in her heart.

Even when Rita could no longer have a dog (due to where she was living) it was important that her window and balcony overlooked the park so she could see the dog walkers. For this reason it seems only right that any donations in her name should go to the animals that meant so much to her.
