Ali was a beloved, unique personality full of life who loved her cats and welcomed people from all over the world to her home.

Ali was so warm and welcoming to all who visited her whether for tea or a month! Always fresh flowers from the garden at your bedside. She loved London and enjoyed it to its full-riding her purple bike around her beloved Brixton, going up to "town" almost every day to tap dance, to the opera, theatre the Proms and a host of other cultural activities.She was a blue badge London Guide full of insights for visitors. She set a pace few could keep up with and was often the centre of lively debates at the kitchen table in the house she loved and opened to all. She left us much too soon, but her memory canlive on by supporting the cats and dogs of Battersea, a cause she supported.
