Our lovely Mum was, simply put, One in a Million. Mum was a kind and gentle lady, who also had a cheeky, almost mischievous side to her.
During a short stay in Ninewells Hospital, Dundee, sadly, our beautiful Mum, passed peacefully away on 4th October 2021, with her three children beside her.
Mum's love for dogs was indescribable. Mum watched many Dog programmes on TV, including this - the Battersea Dogs Home with Paul O'Grady. Mum’s most favourite dog was Honey, pictured here with her. Every telephone conversation I had with our lovely Mum always ended with: "How's Honey?" and "Give Honey a cuddle and a dog biscuit from me."
Mum grew up with Jazz music and often danced, taking part in Jive competitions as a young girl. Mum would often sing some of the old jazz favourites. Mum even managed to sing a few songs from her hospital bed, which I was lucky enough to record, which we will always treasure.
It is often said that a Mother's love is like no other love... Mum, you proved this to be ever so true.
For those who have chosen to donate to our Mum’s page, please accept a heart felt Thank You from all of Mum’s family. Mum would be extremely happy with your donation, knowing it is for a much needed and worthy cause.
THANK YOU.
