Fred sadly passed in December 2019. A familiar face around the village of Higham in Kent, Fred was originally from Catford and moved to the country in 1966. A lifelong animal lover, Fred’s heart was broken earlier this year when he lost his beloved whippet, Pip. He continued to walk the footpaths of Higham with a pocketful of treats and enjoyed meeting his dog walking friends and their fellow hounds. Fred will be deeply missed by his family but to be able to contribute to the welfare of cats and dogs is a fitting legacy for such a kind man with a heart of gold.
