Dad loved dogs: from his childhood pal Rexy to our rescue pup Sheba, who lived to 17, through to our own dogs who he enjoyed in retirement.

Dad loved dogs, as we all know! He & Mam taught us the importance of rescue from a young age when, in 1975, they rescued Sheba, a tiny puppy. Sheba lived to be 17 - one of many dogs Dad loved in his life.

Dad was heavily involved in my rescuing of Bruno & Reuben, & he loved Kirstie's dogs, Millie, Benji, & Daphne, Neil's Pedro, & Keith's D'Artagnan & Mahler.

Dad's dream was that, when he died, all the dogs he'd ever loved in the past would come running to greet him, with Rexy pulling Mam along on his lead. We so hope this dream came true.
