Animals always played a huge part in our Dad’s life. He shared many a memory of weekends escaping into the Dales with his dog when he was younger, and we always had a pet as a family member whilst we were growing up.

He and our Mum were fortunate enough to adopt Bertie from Battersea many years ago. Bertie was a great companion to my Mum when she was ill and a great comfort to Dad when she passed.

Dad was a great supporter of Battersea and the work they do to find homes for cats and dogs, so we believe that this is a fitting cause to support in his memory.
