Terry Crozier
Starting with an apology, this short memorial page has not been proof read aloud in a Geordie accent. Whilst my mum was proud of my educational achievements, reading over my school homework was only tolerable when spoken aloud in Geordie. This gets to the heart of one of my mum’s best features, and one that struck most people she met during her life – her sense of humour. Ranging from the crude and crass to the dark and wry, mum knew how to laugh at life even in the most challenging of times. Mum’s humour and friendship will certainly be the largest void for those she has left behind. For me personally, I will no longer be called a “wazzock” when I do something stupid.
Sadly, Terry Crozier, 63, passed away on the 5th October 2021 following several years with cancer, the ever bothersome “little C”. It was mum’s wish to have an unattended cremation and for her ashes to be placed in a bright and unusual urn. Mum’s cremation will take place on the morning of 22nd October 2021. Please save the date to pause and reflect on the joy that my mum brought to many peoples’ lives. After the cremation, we plan to have a memorial service on a date to be confirmed.
Mum loved her grandchildren, children, family, friends and her dogs, the latter to the point of regularly mixing up the names of her children and dogs. For this reason, we have posted Battersea Dogs & Cats home as a charity if anyone wishes to give to charity in memory of mum.
Although not religious, mum did believe that our late grandma was looking over her during the latter part of mum’s life. I hope they are both together now, cracking a few jokes with other family members and friends. May you rest in peace mum.
We will love and remember you always,
Stuart, Louise and William
